Dog walkers in the north of the Island may be getting new facilities - after a planning application was lodged for the town's promenade.
John Tear of Doggy Wash IOM has applied for planning permission for a new self-service dog wash on Mooragh Promenade.
In his application, he says the new machine - the first of its type on the Island - would be a much-needed facility for pets who've been in the sea.
And he adds if granted permission the unit would be housed in a three-sided wooden shelter to lessen its visual impact.
