The Manx Museum will now open its doors on a Sunday.
From Sunday, April 1 the museum on Kingswood Grove will be open to the public.
Until now, its opening hours ran from Monday to Saturday between 10am and 5pm.
Manx National Heritage Director Edmund Southworth says he thinks the new changes will attract more people to go and visit the site.
