The Mountain Road re-opened earlier this morning following an overnight closure for ice.
Police announced the route had shut just after midnight because of poor conditions.
It re-opened shortly after 5am today, Friday, December 5.
Officers say temperatures rose throughout the night and things have improved, but to still be careful and drive to the conditions.
