A volunteer group has approached Castletown Commissioners in a bid to improve the upkeep of a park in the town.
The Friends of Poulsom Park (FPP) says its remit is to ‘promote the protection, enhancement and maintenance’ of the public space.
It’s submitted a memorandum of understanding to the local authority which is still under consideration.
If signed, the MOU would allow for the group to plant flowers, hold fundraising events and support staff in making improvements to the park.
