£50,000 of taxpayers' cash will be spent resurfacing the southern end of Douglas Promenade.
That's according to the Department of Infrastructure which says the work will be carried out in March:
The northern end of the prom was resurfaced in November last year - in a bid to improve the state of the carriageway - at a cost of £40,000.
Minister Ray Harmer says the public want the department to 'get on with the job' and this will be another short-term fix whilst long term plans are drawn up:
