More police officers needed on the Island

Efforts are underway to recruit more police officers on the Isle of Man.

A recruitment drive has started - last week the constabulary's HR team were at a community event in Douglas promoting the opportunity.

These prospective recruits told us why they were considering joining:

The interest comes despite police workloads increasing after a number of cuts across the service.
