An event will be held this evening to mark the anniversary of the Island's worst disaster.
The Summerland fire claimed 50 lives and injured another 80 people on August 2, 1973.
When the fire broke out, around 3,000 were inside the leisure facility at the Northern end of Douglas Promenade.
A minute's silence will be held at 7pm on the Summerland site.
