The Island's Environment, Food and Agriculture Minister is advising people to be careful when it comes to BBQ's and bonfires.
In a press briefing at the weekend, the minister says people should 'do the right thing'.
It comes following multiple wildfires due to the continued dry weather.
Mr Boot says such activities can scretch the Island's Emergency Services.
