The Island’s Social Care Minister says he wants to get rid of the “postcode lottery” which exists in public sector housing.
Chris Robertshaw says new ways of working need to be found between the 17 housing authorities.
His department will be meeting with the commissioners next month to develop new policy following a public consultation on the matter.
Mr Robertshaw says it’s clear that housing is an area close to people’s hearts but wants to see new ways of working and more consistent services to ensure better value for money.
