Most people who need visas to move to the Island have to have English language skills to do so, according to Treasury Minister Alex Allinson.
In the House of Keys this week he faced questions from Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Jason Moorhouse about English skills required to relocate here.
Dr Allinson said those moving from the common travel area don't need to demonstrate they speak English.
