Treasury Minister Alf Cannan says Manx Radio's newest development costs under £3,500 a year.
He was questioned by Garff MHK Daphne Cain about the taxpayer-funded station in Tynwald this week.
Mrs Caine wanted to know how much the station had invested in its video camera system and what plans it has to develop the product in future.
In response, Mr Cannan said there'll be a wider discussion about the company soon.
