The Enterprise minister has apologised after delays in the green energy grant scheme.
The Green Living Grant scheme was launched last October as part of a government plans to reach net zero carbon emissions by 2050.
More than £5,000 per home is available for improvements like insulation, solar panels, and double glazing.
It's hoped the £7.2 million scheme will help islanders improve their home's energy efficiency and cut bills.
Speaking in the House of Keys this week, Dr Alex Allinson said since its launch the scheme has attracted 1,358 applications- 1,342 of which have been approved.
He explained that the audit delays are down to finding qualified energy assessors.
However, that process is now in the final stages with contracts expected to be awarded "imminently".
Dr Allinson added: "I would like to take this opportunity to apologise to those who applied for the scheme and who have had to wait over the Christmas period to be given a date for their initial energy efficiency survey".
