MHK wants drug death figures

David Ashford MHK

North Douglas MHK David Ashford says he wants to know how many people on the Island die each year because of illegal drugs.

In Tynwald next week he'll ask a question for written reply to the Health and Social Care Minister Kate Beecroft on the issue.
 
Mr Ashford says, at present, statistics about how many annual drug-related deaths aren't published.
 
He says it's a figure that needs to be made public:
