An MHK says he believes that resident’s associations should be more involved in planning processes across the Island.
Chris Thomas has come out in support of the Langness Resident’s Association – despite representing Douglas West – after a plea for support ahead of an upcoming court case.
The association is an interested party in a case which starts in December concerning development at Langness.
It will focus on a dispute over the Southern Area Plan between the Department of Infrastructure, Heritage Homes and FI Developments.
Residents in Derbyhaven asked a number of MHKs to write letters in support of their position.
