The Island's new chair of the Climate Change Transformation Board will represent us at the COP26 conference in Glasgow.
MHK Daphne Caine will travel to Scotland later this week, along Sir David Attenborough, Barack Obama and Greta Thunberg.
The conference provides a platform for the biggest climate crisis talks in years, and will be attended by many world leaders.
Organisers hope it will lead countries to accelerate plans to reduce net zero emission targets, slow global warming and keep temperature rise below 1.5C.
Mrs Caine was asked how it felt to represent the Island.
