Glenfaba and Peel MHK Kate Lord-Brennan is to be investigated over potential contempt of Tynwald over a social media post.
Yesterday on Facebook she revealed she could face censure after using unparliamentary language about Ramsey MHK Lawrie Hooper.
In an update today, she says that post has sparked a new investigation, which will be carried out by an impartial acting Commissioner for Standards.
A report on the allegations will be published after the general election in September.
