News that the new Food Park in Peel will create up to 55 new full-time jobs has been hailed by a senior member of Economic Development.
Laurence Skelly, who's also MHK Rushen, told 3FM of his delight at the new scheme, which was officially confirmed yesterday.
The jobs will be in scallop production, an industry that supports hundreds of local jobs both on land and at sea.
He outlined his hopes for the food park to expand and what this could mean in terms of more job creation in the future.
