Ramsey MHK Lawrie Hooper says he's disappointed to have been sacked from a government job after voting against last week's budget.
Mr Hooper was one of a handful of MHKs who opposed Treasury Minister Alf Cannan's spending plans.
He’s been removed from his job on the SAVE team, which is looking at ways government can cut its costs.
Mr Hooper says it’s evidence the Treasury Minister doesn’t welcome 'constructive criticism'.
