An MHK has slammed a renewable energy company saying plans for an onshore wind farm were never credible.
Yesterday it was announced that Prowind UK had pulled its proposal to install five turbines in Jurby.
Now the managing director of the company has reportedly threatened to pull out of the Island altogether if MHKs don’t support new plans for a solar powered farm instead.
Michael MHK Alf Cannan has been a longstanding critic of the proposals saying there was never a proper business plan in place.
