An MHK is set to take on the responsibility of the Islands highways services.
Ayre & Michael MHK, Tim Baker, takes on the position after being appointed by Infrastructure Minister, Ray Harmer MHK this week.
Mr Baker says he's aiming to bring 'strategic oversight' to the division and to use his experience of work in the private sector and the three years spent with the DOI.
Meanwhile, Minister Harmer says Mr Baker bring 'conscientious political support' to help deliver services.
