Nine new marine nature reserves have gone live on the Island, bringing the total up to ten.
The new sites join Ramsey Bay as part of the list - which was designated in 2011.
Environment, Food and Agriculture Minister, Geoffrey Boot, says these reserves help protect important species and habitats, as well as safeguarding industries like commercial fishing.
He says these areas won't be closed to the public, and is encouraging people to enjoy them.
