Many still awaiting Bay Festival refunds

The Office of Fair Trading has spoken to 3FM to give a definitive update to those Bay Festival ticket holders still awaiting a refund.

Those who purchased from the  HMV ticket service are in the process of receiving their refunds; however those who went directly through the Bay Festival Company are yet to receive theirs.

Upto this point a reason for the holdup has not been established.

An exact number on how many people are still owed refunds, or how much is owed is not known either.

Chief Officer at the OFT Paul Gelling has said despite numerous attempts at contacting Jonathan Irving he has as yet not had any return correspondence.
