Manx Wildlife Trust has a reminder for pet owners.
It says with spring around the corner it wants to ask people to keep their pups on leads.
It says this is especially important when visiting nature reserves, beaches plantations or on Manx hills.
Keeping dogs close will ensure that ground nesting-birds are not harmed during breeding season.
