Manx children at risk of sexual exploitation

 

That's Chief Constable Gary Roberts - he's revealed the extent of the problem for the first time; in the six months to April 2015 the Public Protection Unit's workload doubled. 

 

Over the last year there were almost 600 incidents of children going missing from home and care facilities - that's up 33 per cent on the previous year.
