Fire crews from Peel and Douglas were turned out early on Saturday evening to a vehicle collision on the Archallagan Road near to The Hope crossroads.
Hydraulic cutting gear was used to release one male casualty who had suffered facial and suspected neck and back injuries, prior to his removal to hospital by paramedics.
It happened at 7.45pm and took the crew around 45 minutes to safely remove the individual from the vehicle.
There were no other casualties.
