Man in court over £500,000 drug smuggling charges

 Four men have appeared in court facing charges over a half-million pound drug smuggling plot.

Liverpool men 35 year old Frances Richard Dunne, 40 year old Stephen Joseph James Alty and 32 year old Liam Dunne appeared alongside 31 year old Jamie Mark Smith of Maple Avenue in Onchan.

All deny conspiracy to produce cannabis between February and April last year.

There were no applications for bail and all four were remanded in custody by magistrates at Douglas Courthouse.

They'll appear again on July 1.
