A Douglas man who's pleaded guilty to 49 offences of theft, false accounting and forgery will be sentenced next month.

55-year-old Duncan Jones last week admitted to two counts of forgery from 2008 - he admitted faking his wife's signature on documents for over £38,000.

He has previously pleaded guilty to 26 counts of theft and 21 of false accounting.

They took place at Irish Nationwide Isle of Man between 2001 and 2009.

He also asked the court to take 43 other offences into consideration.

The case has been adjourned until April 15th when Jones will be sentenced - in the meantime he's been granted bail.
