A Douglas man is facing a trial after denying possessing an indecent image of a child.
The man can't be identified after Tynwald introduced new laws in March to protect the identities of alleged sex offenders.
He denies possessing one image, which is at the lowest level of a police scale.
He was bailed to appear in court again at a pre-trial review hearing on October 24.
