Fire crews spent around 40 minutes freeing a driver from their car yesterday.
They were called to Quarterbridge Road in Douglas at around 4pm after two cars collided.
The route was shut for more than an hour while emergency services dealt with the incident.
One man was taken to hospital, but his injuries aren't said to be serious.
