Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was attacked by a dog on Port Erin beach.
The walker was at the water's edge with his 10-year-old daughter at around 4:45pm on Wednesday when he was approached by a male with what appeared to be a white Staffordshire Bull Terrier.
He was set upon by the dog - which caused serious injuries to his legs.
Police ask anyone with information on the incident to contact Castletown Police Station on 631212.
