A Douglas man accused of fracturing his girlfriend’s cheekbone has been committed to a Court of General Gaol Delivery.
Lee Cowell of Darragh Passage appeared before High Bailiff Jayne Hughes at Douglas Courthouse.
He denies assault causing actual bodily harm between October 12 and 15 this year.
There was no bail application, and Mrs Hughes remanded him in custody.
The 46 year old was committed to stand trial in the higher court on a date to be fixed.
