The Island's branch of the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation is promoting the importance of screening.
The charity has launched a Twitter campaign calling for national screening for lung cancer, as 42% of people with lung cancer in the UK are diagnosed at stage 4.
You can support it on Twitter by using the hashtag #needtoscreen.
More information on the Island's branch of the charity, and how to donate, can be found here.
