Becky Forrest just two stages away from Open Mic UK grand final at the O2 Arena
A local girl with aspirations of being the next big thing will be singing on Sunday in an effort to get her a step closer to realising her dream.
Rebecca Forrest been a staple on the Isle of Man’s music scene since she was 15, regularly journeying to the UK auditioning for X-Factor and Britains got Talent, so far to no avail.
Open Mic UK is considered one of the biggest UK talent competitions, and after getting through a close North West regional audition in Dewsbury she now has a few more stages before the final.
A strong panel of professional judges are residing over the competition with a £30,000 prize for the winner.
If Becky is successful this weekend she will then go onto the Area Finals in December with the Grand Final at the O2 Arena on 21st January.
