Laxey village has been closed off amid flooding in the area as heavy rainfall causes havoc on Island roads this morning.
A safety warning has now been issued to residents in the town - authorities are asking anyone trapped in the area to go upstairs in their homes and wait for further instructions.
Police are now urging motorists not to use the Douglas to Ramsey Coast Road due to the high water levels on the stretch and the Mountain Road is closing due to a landslide in the area.
Glen Road at Laxey and Creg ny Baa Back Road have also been shut due to the conditions.
A yellow weather warning for heavy showers remains in place this morning until 10am.
Details of road closures have been published on the Isle of Man Constabulary Facebook page.
