Murder Trial: Jury visits key sites in murder trial

Jurors spent yesterday conducting two site visits as part of the trial of a man accused of murder.

The 12-strong panel visited 40 Queen Street in Castletown yesterday morning.
 
It was here the body of 60-year-old Ballabeg man Neil Roberts was found in the early hours of December 1st 2013.
 
Before the visit they were shown video footage from police officers who attended the scene. 
 
Yesterday afternoon the jury viewed Mr Robert's Ford Focus car and the contents of it at the Vehicle Test Centre. 
 
46-year-old Ian Anderson denies the charges against him which include a further accusation that he assaulted his wife at the same time causing actual bodily harm. 
 
The trial continues today.
