Island wide search for new Samaritans volunteers

More people on the Isle of Man are being urged to consider becoming volunteers for the Samaritans.

Every six seconds someone calls the charity to speak to someone who will listen to them and help talk through their concerns, worries and troubles.
 
Information sessions will be held next month where potential volunteers can find out more before formal training starts in October: 
 
 
The sessions will take place in Douglas, Castletown, Port Erin, Peel and Ramsey - director Gill Porter says it's important to look Island wide:
