Government has a 'reasonably accurate picture' of waiting lists, and capacity limitations, for residential and nursing homes on the Isle of Man.
That's the message from the Health and Social Care Minister who was quizzed on the issue in the House of Keys this week.
Kate Beecroft told her fellow politicians that the figures are monitored on a weekly basis with the information provided on a voluntary basis by the homes.
She also confirmed that government run homes do not hold waiting lists with places allocated after a decision made by a panel.
