Island Bus Service 11am Update

16 and 17A have now started. they will operate today and tomorrow as listed below.

On Friday 8^th January, only the following services will operate:-

Service 1 and 2             normal service between Douglas, Castletown, Port Erin and Port St Mary, without the extensions to the Sound, Bradda and Derby Haven.

Service 3                       will be normal service between Douglas, Laxey and Ramsey.

Service 4                      will be normal service between Douglas, Foxdale and Peel.

Service 5A                    this will operate from Douglas via Peel Road directly to Peel and on via Kirk Michael to Ramsey.  The departure times will be those of the normal 5 and 6 services. As a result of this the Hospital, Strang Road and the Hope will not be served.

Service 11S                   this is a special service between Lord Street and the Hospital operating at 10 and 40 minutes past each hour with the first bus departing 0740.

Service 16                     will be normal service between Ramsey and Maughold.

Service 17A                   the 1010 and 1215 will operate as normal with the exception of Richmond Road and Ramsey Cottage Hospital which will not be served.  The service will run via Jurby Road, Andreas, Bride via the Kimerick Road, Dogmills to Ramsey.

Route 18                       the 1110, 1315 will operate as normal.

Route 20                       the 1515 will run but Smeale and the Point of Ayre will not be served.

Service 21S                   a special service will operate from 0645 and every 30 minutes serving the normal route between Douglas and Farmhill with the exception of Hazel and Heather Crescents in Pulrose.

Service 25S                   in the Douglas and Onchan area a special service will operate from Lord Street via Buck’s Road, Woodbourne Road, St Ninians, Ballanard Road, Johnny Wattersons Lane, Hailwood Drive, Sign Post, Avondale Road, Manx Arms, Royal Avenue, Promenade, Lord Street.  This service will operate at 0630, 0700, 0730 and every 15 minutes.

Service 26S                   this is a special service which will operate anti clockwise to the 25S.  This service will operate at 0645, 0730, 0745, 0800, 0830 and every 15 minutes.
