The inquest into the death of a local nursery owner has been opened.
42-year-old Katherine Nuttall died in Noble's Hospital on December 23rd last year.
At Douglas Courthouse yesterday the court was told a post-mortem showed her cause of death was acute alcoholic intoxication and pre-terminal respiratory failure.
Coroner of Inquests John Needham offered his condolences to the family and released the body so funeral arrangements can be made.
The inquest was adjourned to a date to be fixed.
