A newcomer who was seriously injured during a supersport race at this year's TT is awaiting scan results to see if he'll need spinal surgery.
Gary McCoy from Cookstown was flown to hospital in Liverpool after a crash at Kerrowmoar.
In an update on Facebook, his Madbros Racing team says he's wearing a neck brace at the Walton Centre in Aintree waiting for CT scan results.
They say if the scan shows his vertabrae are stable enough, he'll be able to go home to Belfast - and may be able to recover without surgery.
