Planning application has been submitted for a number of significant changes which will see improvements made in Laxey.
Under the regeneration scheme plans are in place to overhaul the tram station, rose garden and square.
The Department of Community, Culture and Leisure has submitted the applications with the view of making the three areas a more attractive prospect for visitors.
The work will come following a public consultation where it was deemed the majority of people wanted to see these areas improved.
Further phases of regeneration include improvements to the coach stopping area at Mines Road and improvements to the footways.
