Officials who will be responsible for reviewing the Island’s health service visited the Island yesterday.
A team from the West Midlands Quality Review Service met with senior managers and clinicians to discuss the review process which will start in November.
The team will start the inspection by investigating the critical care services at Noble’s Hospital.
The UK body has been contracted because the Island sits outside of the UK’s NHS and is too small to run its own inspectorate.
It’s likely to take between two and three years to complete the review process which will identify which areas and services need improving.
