The government is welcoming the Island's new Medical Director.
Dr Rosalind Ranson takes up the post as the most senior doctor on Manx shores following a recruitment process in Autumn last year.
Speaking about the move, Dr Ranson says she's committed to listening to all stakeholders to ensure they 'work together to improve and transform services to meet the needs of the people'.
Her experience includes senior positions with the General Medical Council, Commission on Human Medicines and most recently as professional advisor to the Care Quality Commission.
