The government has appointed a new Chief Officer of the Department of Health and Social Care.
Paul Richardson will be relocating to the Island to take up the position in October.
Mr Richardson has previously worked in healthcare and national government policy, and was Incident Director on the UK response to the Covid pandemic.
Health Minister Lawrie Hooper says he has no doubt Paul will make a 'significant and positive impact for health and social care in the Isle of Man.'
