Isle of Man to Feature on Google Street View
The Google Street View team are on the Isle of Man to take pictures for the Island’s entry to the Street Map online programme.
Since launching last year Google Street View has seen its popularity soar, with high definition panoramic images of the majority of the streets up and down the British Isles on offer.
It's thought that with the Island's inclusion on Street View it could have some very positive knock ons for tourism.
As part of the operation the distinctive google branded cars will be driving around the Island.
Alex Downie from the Department of Economic Development said the work is the culmination of lots of pre planning.
