Give your feedback to changes on alcohol and events licences

The government is looking for public feedback on proposed changes to alcohol and events licences.

Changes would include moving away from a three yearly application to a rolling licence with an annual fee, so licences would continue as long as industry standards are still met.

This means holders will automatically be approved year-on-year if they continue to meet industry standards.

There are also proposals to include a mobile or 'pop up' licence for greater flexibility of events.

The consultation can be found on the government website, with face to face sessions taking place around the Island throughout August.

You can find the full details below:

Monday 15 August - The Mitre Hotel, Ramsey
Tuesday 16 August - Embassy Room, The British, North Quay, Douglas
Wednesday 24 August - Foraging Vintners, Port Erin
Tuesday 30 August - DEFA Training Room, St Johns
