Future of sea services up for Tynwald discussion

Politicians will be asked to support negotiations on a new Strategic Sea Services Agreement this week. 
 
Tynwald will be asked to approve a report from the Department of Infrastructure which contains seven recommendations to future proof the Island's sea links. 
 
The Steam Packet Company has already put forward a proposal to continue running ferry services however Minister Phil Gawne says he's not entirely happy with it:
 
 
The landing stage in Liverpool will also be up for discussion - the department wants to buy land at Princes Half Tide Dock.
