A yellow weather warning for coastal overtopping will be in force again on Island this afternoon.
The met office notice will run from 12.30pm until 3pm.
The areas most likely to be worst hit are Douglas Promenade, Castletown Promenade and Shore Road in Rushen, according to forecasters.
Strong to near gale force south-southwesterly winds could cause water and debris to wash over onto roads around the time of high tide at 1.51pm.
