Fishing industry to be queried in HOK

Practices in the Isle of Man fishing industry is on an MHK's agenda for the next sitting of Tynwald.

Ramsey MHK Lawrie Hooper has a series of questions on the matter for Environment, Food & Agriculture Minister, Geoffrey Boot MHK, when the court convenes for its December sitting next week.

Among his queries, Mr Hooper wants to know what the annual budget is for fisheries enforcement and if there are any restrictions on any method of fishing in Manx waters.

The next Tynwald session takes place next Tuesday from 10.30am in Douglas.
