The Fire and Rescue service says it was called out to a burning e-scooter inside a house this morning.
Crews from Douglas responded to the incident around 6.45am, Tuesday, July 21.
The residents had put the fire out before they arrived, and the cause is being investigated.
Firefighters are reminding people not to charge e bikes or scooters in bedrooms or in the way of escape routes, or cover chargers and battery packs.
